Common questions regarding the Opalia experience.
What fabric do you use for your comforters and bedsheets?
add
Our bedding is crafted from premium long-staple cotton, mulmul, and glace cotton — selected for breathability, softness, and longevity. Each product page lists the specific fabric, GSM, and thread count where applicable.
Are your products handcrafted in India?
add
Yes. Every Opalia piece is designed and produced in India by skilled artisans, drawing from heritage techniques like block printing and traditional embroidery. We are a Made-in-India brand.
How is the print quality? Will the patterns wear off?
add
Our prints are made using durable techniques suited to long-term use. With proper care (gentle wash cycle, no bleach), the print integrity holds up for years.
Will the colors fade after washing?
add
We use colorfast dyes designed to retain richness through repeated washes. To preserve colors longer, wash in cold water with a mild detergent and dry inside out, away from direct sunlight.
Is the fabric pre-shrunk?
add
Yes, our cotton fabrics are pre-shrunk during finishing. Minimal residual shrinkage (under 3%) may occur after the first wash, which is normal for natural fibers.
What is your return policy?
add
Due to the hygiene-sensitive nature of bedding products, we do not accept returns or exchanges once an order has been delivered. We encourage you to review product details, fabric, and dimensions carefully before ordering. If you have questions, reach out on WhatsApp before placing your order.
How can I contact customer support?
add
We're available on WhatsApp (fastest response, typically within a few hours) and over email at opaliahomes@gmail.com . Our support hours are 9AM- 9PM.
